Looking through my dads bookshelf last weekend I picked up an old copy of East of Eden and happened to open it on this page, it somehow fits with where my head is at these days.

I fricken love this film - and kieran blakes whole album is perfect for where my head is at right now.

I decided at the very last minute to enter a fb competition in an attempt to win myself a beautiful pair of sandals. Little did I realise that the competition was as complicated as it was so I failed miserably in having some stylish summer footwear - I did however take a nice picture of the contents of my bag so I thought I would share it here.

Here is something I have been working on with my friend Carla, we have entered the Tessuti Awards if you feel so inclined vote for us - click on the five hearts and help us win the visitors choice award.

So I know it's been long while between posts but things have been a little crazy busy in these parts since May.

I'm hoping to be about a whole lot more now, there is a possibility that this blog will move to greener pastures very soon so watch this space.

thanks a bunch

hello! i know its been awhile but i've needed a little time and space to recover and gather my thoughts.

i just wanted to say thank you to all of you that came to my opening or came to visit me in my lovely little pop up shop at the beginning of may! In particular i'd like to thank:

the curtain making and catering extraordinaire that is my mum

sam for keeping me fed and on track with all of my lists, just generally making encouraging noises when I wasn't so sure and being my faithful assistant (you've passed with flying colours - lucky you!)

tim and dad for putting up with me and being so generous in letting me make a mess

robards - my website extraordinaire, as well as annie for playing shop for the day and just generally being such good besties!

my sister anna for just generally being encouraging,being my big sister and ofcourse all of my printed matter

sam (gleeson) for the loan of his table

the girls at gaffa gallery for all of their help and for letting me stay another week
